Abandonware
These are games that no longer are available for sale, but has been released for as a freeware, but with no form of guarantee or support.
- Universal Combat - The latest version in the "Battlecruiser 3000AD" game series is now available in a free edition. The only difference between this edition and the fullprice edition is that you don't get the multiplayer part of the game here, only the singleplayer part. Still, it's pretty good deal, after all it's free!
Cheap games
- F.E.A.R - One of the greater FPS out there, with a horror-enviroment. If you are not easily scared, then this is a great choice.
Registerware
Here is a list of games and software that you get for free, as long as you just register.
- GTA (Grand Theft Auto) - The first game in the GTA-series has now been released by Rockstar North as registerware, and can be downloaded for free if you register with your name, age, adress and e-mail. PS! Remember to look at the instructions on the web page on how to start the game the first time.
- GTA II (Grand Theft Auto II) - This is the second in the GTA-series, and together with GTA it has also been released as registerware by Rockstar North.
- Wild Metal - One of the lesser known games by Rockstar North, the producers of the GTA series. Now you can freely download and play this game, just as long as you register on their web page.. In Wild Metal you control one of five different types of tanks that fight each other out on the battlefield.
Other
- F.E.A.R Combat - The FPS game F.E.A.R is deffinately one of the best games in this genre, and the multiplayer part of the game has been released as a free download. After you download it, you get a free CD-key sent to you in your e-mail, and then you are free to play as much as you'd like. If you'd like to play the Singleplayer part as well, you can get it here. It's certainly well worth the price.
